As the name suggests, the Israel Brass Quintet consists entirely of
brass instruments: two trumpets, a trombone, a tuba, and a horn.
Since 1998, they have been performing theme concerts that transport
audiences to special times and places in music history, with titles
such as From Granada to Jerusalem and Bella Italia. The programme
for the Portuguese Synagogue on 23 May is still a surprise!

Last year the quintet played at the International Jewish Music
Festival. As the winners of the Jewish Cultural Quarter Prize (as
well as the KAB Productions Canada Prize), they were invited to
perform here again. If you missed their first concert, you have a
second chance!
