Walking in the Old Jewish Quarter
The Hollandsche Schouwburg lies in the heart of the
former Jewish quarter, which illustrates the colourful life of
Jewish Amsterdam. Some buildings have kept their
original function, like the Portuguese Synagogue. A series of city
walks, each with it's own theme, bring Amsterdam's colourful
