In connection with In the Picture! 3x
Photography at the JHM, the museum is holding a
photography competition with the theme of 'portraits on the
street'. Our challenge to you: submit your most beautiful, striking
or original photograph related to the theme of the three photo
exhibitions opening on 15 July at the JHM.
The three exhibitions Unguarded Moments, Saul Leiter:
New York Reflections and My Name is Cohen will focus on portraits and
street scenes. The competition combines these two subjects and
gives you the chance to show your work to a wider audience.
How to enter the competition
Take a photograph of a person in the midst of an
ordinary, present-day street scene. The challenge is to find an
unguarded moment. The JHM will post all the entries here. The five
winning photos will also be presented to the world in the next
issue of the JHM magazine. When you submit your photograph, make
sure it has the following dimensions: minimum of
21 × 29,7 cm, 300 dpi.
Photographs can be sent by e-mail until 31 August
with 'Fotowedstrijd' in the subject line. Please include your name
and address in the message.
