With Sjiera, the Jewish Vocal Ensemble, the Russian conductor Ilia Belianko started to explore new paths in the field of Jewish liturgical work. The mixed double quartet brings music from the early baroque to contemporary music by composers from virtually every continent. A demanding repertoire for an ambitious ensemble.

The Jewish Vocal Ensemble Sjiera will perform works by Salomone Rossi, Louis Lewandowski, Ernst Bloch, Franz Schubert, Yechezkel Braun, Victor Schlesinger, Paul and Marc Stetsenko Lavrie.
