Photo Service

Photos can be ordered as prints or digitally inasmuch as the copyright is owned by the Jewish Historical Museum. Requests for permission and delivery of other photos are referred to the copyright holders. A charge is made for the use and production of photos.
Requests for photos should be made, together with a list of the photos and the purpose (e.g., the type of publication) to the Resource Centre:

Prices

Price of copyright/use per picture:

The nature and volume of the publication may affect the tariff.

Colour reproduction, single edition: € 100
Black-and-white reproduction, single edition: € 50
Book cover reproduction, single edition: € 250

Digital production costs:

Scan for personal use: € 5 per scan
Scan for commercial use: € 10 per scan
Tiff file (minimum 350 dpi), on cdr: € 12
Jpeg file (350 dpi), as e-mail attachment: no charge

Analogue production costs:

Colour or black-and-white photo print, format to A4: € 12 per print
Larger format photo prints: in consultation
Ektachrome on loan (maximum period 1 month): no charge if duplicate present
Duplicate ektachrome: € 30

All prices excluding 6% value added tax (BTW) and excluding postage.

Additional costs charged by banks for international payments are for the client.
In the euro zone the cost is € 4.50, other currencies € 11.50.
